Hello all, I had finally managed to retopologise this beastie. Took me months, due to constant client work. This model was made for a college assignement in which a product had to be developed that could benefit people. I chose to create this arm as I belived it to be a feasable piece of technology that could realistically be developed in the near future. Initial ideas such as teleporters and hoover boots were considered to be too unrealsitic. Inspiration for this model came from YouTube and Instagram accounts featuring similar 3D work along with informative videos on the use and function of exisitng prosthetic arms. I wanted to create an arm that maintained the familair human form of an arm with full motions such as an adjustable elbow and five finger movements.
Modelled and animated in Blender.
Textured and baked in Substance Painter.
Set to accurate scale.
Ready for use in a game/animation scene.

I really struggled to squeeze this in between uni work and other projects so it’s a little rushed and there are a lot of things I want to change (and finish). Still, I’m happy I managed to get something done before the deadline and it surely was a fun project I learned quite a lot from!
