Testing exporting from 3ds Max using CAT for rigging / animation into SketchFab. Curious to see if I can get Embergen to create VFX for this (working with Embergen beta currently) TONS of room for improvement, a W.I.P. The best solution I found (with 3ds Max) was using the Game Exporter twice (export, then re-import, then export again). The wing flapping animation has a bit of an unwanted wiggle to it. Hello everyone,
This was such a cool project to work on. I made this project based on the concept art from Kyle Corneliushttps://www.artstation.com/artwork/5l2Kz. Everything has a first time well this project was a lot of first times. This is my first time working in zbrush I always wanted to learn how to sculpt and work it down to a useable game ready creature. After making the high poly in zbrush I went to Maya for the retopo this was also a first for me so learned to work with the quad draw tool. When the low poly was done I uv unwrapped in Maya and textured in substance painter. I went back to zbrush for the posing.
