The Kul Sharif Mosque located in Kazan Kremlin, was reputed to be at the time of its construction one of the largest mosques in Russia, and in Europe outside of Istanbul.
Originally, the mosque was built in the Kazan Kremlin in the 16th century. It was named after Kul Sharif, who was a religious scholar who served there. Kul Sharif died with his numerous students while defending Kazan from Russian forces in 1552. It is believed that the building featured minarets, both in the form of cupolas and tents. Its design was traditional for Volga Bulgaria, although elements of early Renaissance and Ottoman architecture could have been used as well. In 1552, during the Siege of Kazan it was destroyed by Ivan the Terrible.

A motorcycle of the Warhammer 40k Universe. This one is painted with the colors and emblems of the “White Scars” Space Marine Chapter. The White Scars are known for their “need for speed”, and were one of the legions that was defending the Imperial Capital in the siege of Terra during the Horus Heresy.
Since it’s based on a toy model, it didn’t have much details on some parts… So i look for some references and modeled some things “a bit” different: the tires, the steering handles, the dashboard, the seat and an actual motorcycle engine (with some modifications to fit it into the model dimentions, nothing too fancy though).
As everyone should know by now, the space marines, white scars, warhammer 40k universe images and emblems are the property of Games Workshop.
I was thinking of modeling also a Space Marine to pilot the thing but that is another work (i’m doing it right now).
