Hello !
Here is my participation for the “Sketchfab Texturing Challenge: Shiba Inu”.
The idea was basically to “frenchify” the Siba Inu and make him a walking french cliché. So pretty much everything we’re known for (only good things !) is present.
Since the model was so low poly, I thought it wouldn’t make sense for me to do something too realistic. Therefore I tried to keep a clean material with very few imperfections.
For the softwares I only used Substance Painter (and Photoshop of course).

A building built by the Romans during their occupation of Britain (43 - 410 CE) - typical of a town house in Londinium (Roman London) - established in 47 - 50 CE. The house would have been abandoned when the Romans left Britain and would have started to fall into disrepair but may have become occupied by early Anglo Saxons in the 5th or 6th Century. Following frequent attacks the Vikings occupied the city in 871 CE until it was re-taken by the Saxons in 886 under the leadership of Kind Alfred of Wes (Alfred the Great).
The model shows the house in a state of disrepair but perhaps with some renovations - by Vikings or Saxons - and some Viking chairs up on the balcony!
I have kept the poly count as low as possible and it should work well as a game asset - download the gltf file and load the scene file into Unreal - tick ‘Combine mesh’ box for a single static mesh or untick if you want to use the individual modules of the house in your scene. For my submission, I present MAT COP 21. COP 21 is inspired by the fictional character Eva from the pixar movie Wall-E. My artistic take on the challenge was to present a visual representation of the effects of climate change. Similar to the message conveyed in Wall-E my model expresses the juxtaposition of despair and hope for a ecologically sound future. The damage on the model symbolizes the negative impact on Earth but still holds hope in the form of the pod accepting the plant. I focused in on subtle details that are symbolic for these current issues such as: dented & bent metal, the burning lines ( Earth’s rising core temperatures), the cracked glass (depletion of the Ozone Layer) and, the black malice at the figure’s base (oil spills in our bodies of water).
