The Red Dress project, conceived by British artist Kirstie Macleod, provides an artistic platform for women around the world, many of whom are vulnerable and live in poverty, to tell their stories through embroidery. From 2009 to 2022, pieces of the Red Dress travelled the globe being continuously embroidered onto. Constructed out of 84 pieces of burgundy silk dupion, the garment has been worked on by 363 women and 7 men from 50 countries. Shared with Permission © PYTCH 2022 During my time at Pytch one of the projects I was tasked with working on was to create a Cyberpunk/Dystopian City street for use as a driving plate for virtual production in Unreal engine. My responsibility was to design and create the city street and implement it inside Unreal engine while ensuring performance. Due to the scope of project I created modular assets that can be instanced in order to keep with in performance targets and meet the scale of the scene. The road seen above is 6 tiles each with which I mixed and matched to hide repetition and tiling issues. The UAZ-452 was taken as the basis. I wanted to make something incredible and extreme out of this car. Therefore, I decided to make a prototype for asphalt ring roads. The car has developed aerodynamics and a good power-to-weight ratio, so the speed should be good. When creating this project, I was inspired by advanced solutions in the creation of racing cars from leading auto manufacturers such as McLaren, Ferrari, Porsche and others. This is the first 3D model of the car in May and the first project of this level of complexity, but I liked it, I will improve further in this direction. Soft: 3DsMax, Arnold Render, RizomUV, Substance 3D painter, Photoshop. For the presentation on this site, a 3d model was used with 2k-texture set.
