This project was by far the most challenging to texture because of all the details but it was super fun! It's based on the concept of Elodie Mondoloni (artstation.com/elodiemondoloni) and I just love her creativty and how she renders her paintings. That's why I wanted to explore her style, mix it with my own and see where I'll get with it. I could work on this forever because at one point you always notice another thing you could change but you have to move on. So, here it is and I hope you like it. The Brake Caliper is NOT attached to the rest of the wheel which makes animating easy…after all this part does not spin with the wheel! (Please view the Animation mode....Take 01)
I have tried to keep the polygon count low so you only see what you would see if these were attached to a Car.........the tread and sidewall markings are bump mapped. Easy to use with your Car Model........Just duplicate this pair of wheels and you have 4.......all with correct direction.
