At the start of this month I decided to challenge myself to create a character model every week. I've made 4 characters. and put them together here. They're based on object I found in my house. Check my Timelapse on youtube if you want to what object I used.. (huh, I didn't really noticed untill I started putting them together that they seems to mostly have black hair..) For the course Stylised Creation at Howest DAE I made this cute dog. This assignment was focussed on going through the whole pipeline (blockout - sculpting - retopology - UV Layout - texturing - presentation). This little guy was sculpted in ZBrush, retopo and UVs were done in Maya and I used Substance Painter for the final texturing touches.
