Copper alloy statuette of Horus the Child (also known as Harpocrates) represented walking wearing a crown with uraeus. On one side of the hand is a loop to which was attached a side-lock, denoting his youth. Eyes are inlaid with gold. His right forefinger is held up to his mouth. The feet rest on a rectangular pedestal inscribed in hieroglyphs petitioning Horus the Child to grant life to Djed-ankh-ptah, son of Hor. Described by Professor Percy Newberry as being of a “very fine technique” and dating to Saite Period. An old iron ore mine. Large sandstone furnace is surrounded by piles of iron ore and old crates filled with precious ore. There is mining equipement, ancient vases and two old wooden cranes around the main structure. Shade is casted by the fabric with blue, gold and red ornaments which is tied to a wooden poles and the chimey of the central furnace.

Vasa was a Swedish warship that capsized and sank off Beckholmen in Stockholm’s inlet on its maiden voyage, August 10, 1628. After some early unsuccessful attempts to rescue her in the 17th century, Vaasa was largely forgotten.
The ship’s approximate position remained known until the middle of the 19th century, but no serious attempts were made to salvage it. In 1956, the amateur researcher and engineer Anders Franzén, together with the diver Per Edvin Fälting, succeeded in re-establishing Vaasa’s exact position and after several years of marine archeological excavations and preparations, Vasa was lifted above the water surface on April 24, 1961.
