My entry for the Sketchfab/3D-Coat challenge themed ‘Robot Animals'. This model is based on an older, non-robotic version I made several years ago. Had a lot of fun creating it and 3D-Coat is the best application for PBR texturing in 3D I've used so far! Woop woop, made the first place! “Am I Truly the Last?“
When I was a child, I have seen 1hour of this movie and I looked for the rest all through my teens. Now, I know the last 30minutes of this masterpiece and the #StorybookChallenge was the opportunity to make a 3D piece in memory of my childhood.
The movie was based on a original story of the same name, so I decided to make this scene in a book with an aspect 2D to 3D because of the traditional animation found throughout the movie.
Thanks to my friend @Vailys for her tips and my boyfriend @Kalomnia for his advices during the process !
