Howl’s Moving Castle is a 2004 Japanese animated fantasy film scripted and directed by Hayao Miyazaki. The film is based on the novel of the same name by British writer Diana Wynne Jones. Made this floating island with a lighthouse in 5 days trying to be done by the end of the week. And I gotta say, this was a marathon. Were a lot of troubles with baking, making fine details. If I had more time I would probably did separate bakes, but not this time. So, about the model: it’s a handpainted lowpoly with baked map from a highpoly. Triangles count: 27,5K. I was going with anime style (Miyazaki movies) and for reference I used artworks of Jim Shore (“Benatrex - Shorelights”), you’ll notice the lighthouse that I recreated.

Here is a scene I made with the objects I created during my last game jam for our game “Mars Machine”. It’s about a rover that stranded on the surface of mars and has to save Matt Damon :P
I didn’t include the rover here because I textured but didn’t model it.
What you can see is the crash site of the, now broken, satellite and three weather stations on the rocky mars surface.
