Here is a new low poly diorama originally inspired by the fabulous concept of Sephiroth Art. It has been a while in production as after initially building the Golem I left it to come up with an additional storyline. In the end I was inspired by the acts of kindness that have been occuring all over the world recently and the birds nesting in our garden. This lead to showing the gentle side of his character rescueing a chick and trying to return it to the nest. A fan-art from the game The Legend of Zelda! Link’s Master Sword and shield awaiting for him on a calm, magic forest, while Navi flies around. Engraved on the statue, the games from the series that I have completed so far.
My first attempt at handpaint (well, months ago I did one with the mouse, but that doesn’t count :P), and I’m really really satisfied with the mood of the scene and the result :D It’s quite a change from my usual style.
It began as an approach to modeling in 3dsMax with the Master Sword, then with the shield… and I couldn’t resist, I had to make the scene. Textured and animated with Blender.
It was really fun to make this one… I hope you like it! :)
