Als Sistrum wird ein in der Realität metallenes Rasselinstrument bezeichnet, das hauptsächlich von Priesterinnen im Tempelkult eingesetzt wurde. Das Schwingen des Sistrums erzeugte den erwünschten, rasselnden Klang. Dieses Objekt, dessen Griff fehlt, ist nicht funktional einsetzbar. Statt aus Metall besteht es aus glasiertem Steatit und obwohl Metallstäbe eingesetzt waren, hätten keine Plättchen geschüttelt werden könne (H.B./C.E.L.)
