Here is my version of the “Bomb" enemy from the Final Fantasy Saga. Made following the Udemy course of Zbrush from Odin Fernández. Since YuGiOh MasterDuel was released I instantly fell back in love with the cardgame I grew up with 😍 At first it was hard to catch up with the fastpaced playstyle nowadays, but its still a blast - no better way to pay Tribute than recreating the bossmonster of the deck I’m currently using ✌
The modelling was a very good practice for situations, where the references aren’t necesserily angled perfectly. This way, you definitely have to look at your model from all different angles all the time. But the project definitely deepened my love for creating Anime-Like / NPR Models iand give them my own touch.

Any tips for me to apply to future models?
This stylized axe was made with a very small amount of polygons to be used in game engines without any problem. Its 1024x1024 texture was hand painted on the substance painter and is mirrored.
If you want change the axe texture, you can edit the photoshop file! There you can separately edit the details, the Ambient occlusion, the color and the black and white painting
