Bronze statue located next to the City Park (Stadspark) of Antwerp (Belgium).
The statue was cast in Paris by F. Barbedienne, from an original stone sculpture by Marcel Bourbier. The piece was part of the French pavillion during the World Fair of 1930 in Antwerp, and was later gifted to the city of Antwerp by the city of Paris. Based on “Littlest Tokyo” by glenatron, licensed under CC Attribution-ShareAlike.
This time I wanted to simply enhance the stylised look with some complimentry lighting, and a nice vibrant sunsent seemed to work a treat!
Beyond the basic light setup, I added a background to match my colour scheme and a shadowcatcher to grab those long end of day shadows.
