Bilbo's Pantry is inspired by the Bag End Pantry concept created by the amazing John Howe. That concept, along with the Lord of the Rings and Hobbit movies, motivated me to create this scene. I wanted to get back to some stylized, hand painted textures and created this scene with that goal in mind. The pantry scene is low poly and utilizes diffuse and specular maps only. Tolkien's works have been a big part of my life and I really enjoyed working on this piece. I modeled this from the ground up to be a mix between the Lazer’s more quirky elements such as the perculiar placement of the airbrakes and the F-16’s characterisic shape and details such as the bubble canopy. The Model was built and animated in Blender while the textures were made using GIMP.
