Since YuGiOh MasterDuel was released I instantly fell back in love with the cardgame I grew up with 😍 At first it was hard to catch up with the fastpaced playstyle nowadays, but its still a blast - no better way to pay Tribute than recreating the bossmonster of the deck I’m currently using ✌
The modelling was a very good practice for situations, where the references aren’t necesserily angled perfectly. This way, you definitely have to look at your model from all different angles all the time. But the project definitely deepened my love for creating Anime-Like / NPR Models iand give them my own touch.

A Hearthstone fan art I made based on the concept of Charlène Le Scanff (AKA Catell-Ruz)(https://www.artstation.com/artwork/9eP3GN). Made basic block out in Blender and added details in Zbrush. Turn out I didn’t use any of the maps from my high poly scultp, as I find it harder to match my texture painting to the original concept because my sculpt wasn’t good enough. All textures painted in 3D Coat and with a few finishing touches in Photoshop.

I have been working on new pipeline for stylized modeling and texturing in my free times. I picked the one of the Konstantin Turovec’s concepts then i started. I used Substance Painter firstly then some little touches in photoshop. When I start to make this model I wasn’t thinking that way of presentation. My idea was to model a beverage vending machine but instead of normal drinks, you can buy (very cheap) potions.
