One of a couple of coils of worn continuous track, from some variant of the US Sherman tank. The earliest continuous track was patented in 1846 as an aid for steam powered traction engines, and was used on gun carriages in the Crimean War. The propulsion system gained popularity at the turn of the century, particularly under the Caterpiller Tractor Company, and was swiftly adopted by armoured fighting vehicles alongside the invention of the tank in the First World War. Based on photographs, I believe this section to be from a late model Sherman, possibly even the M-50 ‘Super' Sherman variant used by Israel from the 1950's. The split-section, steel exterior plates don't seem to appear on earlier models or in European theatres, but let me know if you're a tank nerd and I've got that wrong. Martin B-26 Marauder is an American twin-engined medium bomber that saw extensive service during World War II. First used in the Pacific Theater of World War II in early 1942, it was also used in the Mediterranean Theater and in Western Europe. After entering service with the United States Army aviation units, the aircraft quickly received the reputation of a “widowmaker” due to the early models’ high accident rate during takeoffs and landings. This was because the Marauder had to be flown at precise airspeeds, particularly on final runway approach or when one engine was out. A total of 5288 were produced between February 1941 and March 1945.

A simple rework of my “Cartoon Kitten American Purrrman Tank” i felt not utilising the full potential of the model by only offering the bright pink pink texture option.
A small stylised piece i created while recovering from an illness, i set myself a time limit of 2.5 hours for the creation of this asset and due to this constraint there are some minor issues with the mesh and some edges that should hold more detail have suffered but overall i feel i captured the art style i was aiming for.
