Here is the 8th model of the archeology collection.
This limestone funerary cippus was discovered in Bordeaux during the unearthing of the Gallo- Roman ramparts in 1868. It is dated 258 a.C. The epitaphs are dated 261 a.C.
The double epitaph, both pagan and christian, does not allow to say that Domitia was Christian. However, it is an extremely interesting marker of the transition to the time when Christianity will prevail in this part of the world.
You can discover it at the Aquitaine Museum in Bordeaux, France.

The current Mula castle was built in the 16th century on the remains of the old medieval Islamic castle. Blaise Castle is a folly built in 1766 near Henbury in Bristol, England. The castle sits within the Blaise Castle Estate, which also includes Blaise Castle House, a Grade II listed 18th-century mansion house.
There is a volunteer community group http://www.friendsofblaise.co.uk/ who work with Bristol City Council to conserve, improve and promote the Estate and also open the castle up to visitors (though not a present time due to Coronavirus restrictions).
