The concept and the orignal 2D art for the Moss log and environment was done by Forest Driver on ArtStation. The concept art for the leoard gecko was done by Alex Braun. The mushroom the gecko is holding is called a pixie parasol. This project was done for a Character pipeline assement, it is my first time making a character and doing a rig etc, and also my first time using someone elses concept. I’ve been watching these mushrooms grow in a little patch of forest near my house and the #AgisoftNatureChallenge provided a good incentive to see how well they’d scan. I was a bit surprised at how some of the details like the ant colony entrance turned out. All in all, it was a good experience trying to capture something that I might not have attempted otherwise.
Model made from 132 12MB images taken with a Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and processed in Metashape using “High” quality settings.
