The process consists of modelling a low poly version, from which a copy is made with a very high dense mesh where details are sculpted in, later baked onto its low poly counterpart.
This is arguably one of the first big challenges that I came across in my contributions to the mod, for one simple reason: as a beginner I still did not know how to have more than 1 texture in one single model. A small stylised piece i created while recovering from an illness, i set myself a time limit of 2.5 hours for the creation of this asset and due to this constraint there are some minor issues with the mesh and some edges that should hold more detail have suffered but overall i feel i captured the art style i was aiming for.

I modeled this from the ground up to be a mix between the Lazer’s more quirky elements such as the perculiar placement of the airbrakes and the F-16’s characterisic shape and details such as the bubble canopy. The Model was built and animated in Blender while the textures were made using GIMP.
