This was such a cool project to work on. I made this project based on the concept art from Kyle Corneliushttps://www.artstation.com/artwork/5l2Kz. Everything has a first time well this project was a lot of first times. This is my first time working in zbrush I always wanted to learn how to sculpt and work it down to a useable game ready creature. After making the high poly in zbrush I went to Maya for the retopo this was also a first for me so learned to work with the quad draw tool. When the low poly was done I uv unwrapped in Maya and textured in substance painter. I went back to zbrush for the posing. Be it serrated claws and sturdy bones or resourceful pelts, skin and scaled hydes. Covering fleshwound after scar after fleshwound after laceration after evisceration and scars. Holy moly did it feel like an eternity since I started on this guy, but atlast here it is. Made a few provisional demo animations. Hope you like what you see and to hear what you think.
