Juma Mosque is situated in the center of the village of Kala Koreysh in Dagestan, Russia, next to the family cemetery of the Utsmis, feudal rulers of Kaitag. The mosque's prayer hall is divided by rows of pillars into three naves. And the first aisle from the entrance is elevated in comparison with the other two by 50 centimeters - the relief slope is used. The prayer hall is slightly extended from west to east. Its dimensions are 12,2 by 10,2 meters, the thickness of the walls is about 50 centimeters. In the center of the hall there is a prayer niche - mihrab - that shows to the praying person the direction to the south, to Mecca. The mosque is laid out of big and carefully processed blocks. The material is local stone - shell rock. The masonry is dry and the stones are very precisely fitted. The technique of stone processing is high. A finely decorated silver-gilt casket, made in Paris around 1490-1510, and believed to have been owned by Mary, Queen of Scots. It is an extremely rare example of French silver from the Renaissance era because much was melted down for their precious metals. Its survival attests to its association with Mary, and it has been treasured as a relic of this unfortunate queen by the Dukes of Hamilton for over 340 years.
Its particular renown derives from the belief that it is the casket that was dramatically produced at a hearing against Mary at Westminster in 1568, containing the notorious ‘Casket Letters’, used as evidence of the queen’s complicity in the murder of her husband Henry, Lord Darnley.

This is my first “full” 3D scan, combining 2 scans for the top and bottom of the shoe. I’ve been wanting to do this for a long time, and I’m glad I finally took the time to do it. Thanks @nebulousflynn for the help :) This was made with 165 photos shot with iPhoneXs and process with Agisoft Metashape. It’s not perfect but quite happy with the result. The biggest challenge was the tongue, which is very thin.
Since 2005, VEJA has been making sneakers differently infusing each stage of production with a positive impact. Veja introduced the V-10 model to celebrate their 10th anniversary, you can buy it here.

In Medieval times, Trim Castle stood like an imposing stone sentinel and powerful symbol of Norman strength at the edge of the Pale, the small area of Anglo-Norman influence on Ireland’s eastern coast. To go beyond the Pale was to enter the hostile world of the Gaelic Irish. Here at the edge, the two sides would have met - in conflict and in battle.
Trim Castle, the largest Anglo-Norman castle in Ireland, was constructed over a thirty-year period by Hugh de Lacy and his son Walter. Hugh de Lacy was granted the Liberty of Meath by King Henry II in 1172 in an attempt to curb the expansionist policies of Richard de Clare, (Strongbow). Construction of the massive three storied Keep, the central stronghold of the castle, was begun c. 1176 on the site of an earlier wooden fortress. This massive twenty-sided tower, which is cruciform in shape, was protected by a ditch, curtain wall and moat.
