This is a practice piece I worked on when following a ‘Sci-fi Weapon Tutorial’ by Michael Pavlovich. Most of the high res was done with Zbrush’s z-modeler tool. Retopology and UV-unwrapping done in Maya. I wanted to take a stab at making something less boxy than my usual models with ornate features. I spent the last month on and off making this flintlock pistol. Modeled in Blender 2.83. Beveled normals and ornate engravings were baked in Blender, the ornate engravings were made in Affinity Designer. The rest of the texturing was done in Substance Painter. This is also the first time I sculpt a skull. I am super happy with how everything turned out!

PBR texture set in 1k, 2k, and 4k.
Each set Contains: Color Map, Metalic Map, Normal Map, and Roughness Map.

I try to challenge myself to create different textures from the original, so I decide to use Asiimov skin from CSGO as my reference, i took almost two weeks to finish model, texture, lighting, and rendering btw here is the result :)
btw the texture on the right side flipped, coz I just mirror the UV and overlapped xD I’m too lazy to create another uv map
