Small diorama scene made for a school assignment. The theme I chose was “Forest Loner”, and I thought it would be interesting to create a house that looked like it was made by hand from local materials.
I’ve always been curious about tileable textures, and decided to try my hand at creating a few to be used in the scene. I created a wood and metal trim texture which was used in the texturing of the shed, the house, the water tower and the electrical poles. I also made a texture sheet for the metal roofing and used it to also texture the small electrical conductors on the electrical poles.

The sculpt was made in Zbrush, low poly retopo in Maya, baking in Marmoset Toolbag and texturing in Substance Painter. In this assignment i tried to push myself to the limit on the complexity of the character for the time limit of 5 weeks we had so as to improve my skillset. I hope you like it :)
