Glow FX were originally done as billboard planes, flickering was achieved by randomly rescaling them; the little bat and moving candle flames were animated by shifting UV - as these techniques are currently unavailable on Sketchfab I edited them out and left a static model with no billboard tracking. I did not expect this one to drag so long as in the beginning I was merely remaking the miniature version.
I have to design the whole thing from the ground up, from the size of the barrel, its bullet all the way to how the magazine can actually insert into the gun.
I stick the design as closely to the miniature as possible and spend most of my time figuring out the mechanic.
4K texture and 2 versions. One slightly wider to look more akin to the miniature.

Of Course there is also non-transparent magazine and rig without ammo inside so use this if you dont want to flood game with ammo that is not even visible.
