Fun stylized challenge. Low poly modeling with 3ds max and textured with substance painter. The idea is an island surrouned by an atoll with magical statues that act as wards… or whatever you want to think :D.
Free to download for anyone that wants to check it out. Primarily used AO and cavity maps to help give shading and hightlights. Most of the textures are 2048x2 and I tried to stay away from any small letter or symbols to reduce any resolution issues. I used a gradient texture on objects to get this nice render.
I started to create a little planet but the result was not as good as expected so I decided to create a tiny low poly island (very simple) and put my scene on it. I added low poly clouds to complete the decoration.
