Another new installation of the dragon variants after a while, but less outdated this time. A variant of dragon, progenitor of a once renowned hierarchy among the dragon world. Overall rigged as usual but nothing too complicated id say since I usually like to keep it relatively simple, so if youve seen the other models you can expect the same thing in general (but in the form of a dragon though). Plus some animtations I managed to pull off. Had this guy in mind since about 2 or 3 models ago but I cant help but stick to a specific lineup of projects, perfect or not im humbly satisfied afterall with the results c: worth every migraine as usual. Can probably go nicely in some renders or not and things alike ESPECIALLY with some fire vfx. So here is my first character almost fully sculpted on blender 2.81. It took me a few days to figure out how to represent Kaido on a 3d aspect. I took a basic draw of kaido and started sculpting with it in my background. The sculpting was done by mouse and I would say I worked on the model probably 10 hours in total.
The character has no scar on his body, let’s say this render is representing him before he got it :)
I was mainly focusing on making the best possible Kaido model using my skills, that’s why the background ( representing Onigashima, the residential island of Kaido ) looks this bad.

This challenge was really exciting to work on. I tried to capture that childlike feeling of exploring new worlds, and I wanted to encourage the viewer to move up and down and around the model, discovering different views and perspectives of the scene.
