First time properly using Substance Painter - Croix De Guerre 1939, given to brave souls who fought along side the allies during WW2.
Some areas aren’t as accurate as I’d like them to be due to having to work around an issue in photoshop (had to mess about with the UV a little, so there’s a tiny bit of weirdness). That said, this has been an important breakthrough in my workflow and I’ve finally entered the realm of PBR.
Whilst I do own (and quite like) Quixel, its shortcomings are mostly performance based, whereas Substance does very well in this case. The thing with Substance is pinpoint accuracy is at a loss along with important things like proper brush scaling on both U and V. I’ve yet to check out the latest version of Substance though. This rifle is the last weapon of my steampunk series and holds a dominant position in the project. Making the AK was a big challenge as it was tough to keep the look similar to the original gun and also get the steampunk feel overall, the best I could think of doing without altering the look, was to add extra attachments that give it a steampunk look and feel and using a warm colour palette with wear and tear effect on the body, clippers an exception, its brand new, lol!! Although it was a task to achieve the end product, I enjoyed the whole process as its one of my big time favourite assault rifle.

I have tried to keep the polygon count low so you only see what you would see if these were attached to a Car.........the tread and sidewall markings are bump mapped. Easy to use with your Car Model........Just duplicate this pair of wheels and you have 4.......all with correct direction.
Modelled in Blender 2.79......Textured in Substance Painter
Tested in both EEVEE & Cycles Render engines - 2.80/2.93
