Insects and Larvae Trap:
The feathers on the antennae have specialized structures that secrete a sweet and enticing scent to attract nocturnal insects and larvae. When the insects are drawn in by the light and the scent, they become trapped in the feathers of the antennae, which function as a natural trap. This provides an additional food source for the Luminaves, ensuring a constant supply of nutrients.

Emblematic helmet from the upper English middle age (VII century) this piece is believed to have belonged to King Rædwald of East Anglia, one of the eight Bretwaldas of Britain (the fourth). It was discovered in a large funeral boat covered by a tumulus.
