  Bell B412 static Low Poly 3D Model 2024-05-15
This is basically a Bell 212 but fitted with a new composite four-blade rotor. First flown in 1981, the 412 incorporated a new four-blade rotor system to replace the two-blade teetering rotor system. Bell had spent some time experimenting and developing their new family of composite blades. The new four-blade design gave the Bell 412 an improved performance with reduced noise and vibration. 3d model i’ve been working on for a few months now. the base design comes from the universe Warhammer 40k, i decided to make it a space wolf dreadnought with the old paint style of light gray/red instead of the blue/yellow one we mainly see, it’s also part of the iron wolves Great Company. modelled with blender and textured with substance painter, i practiced a lot on using hardened normals in my workflow, most edges of the mesh are using this to help smooth the shape. the model is rigged and has a material with 1 set of 4k PBR textures, the base with rocks and dirt is a speparate mesh with it’s own material of 2k PBR baked textures. included with the .FBX and textures will be a .zip file with a blender database fully set up and ready to render 3D Model is ready to download for free, this model contains 122543 polygons.

I’ve always been a massive fan of Warhammer 40K. Starting out with a Necron army in 2005. I’ve been wanting to do a piece like this for a while and have had a lot of fun in bringing the Kommando to life. A Kommando (pl. 3d model i’ve been working on over a few weeks. This is a re-creation of the new imperial sentinel figurine from w40k made by games workshop based on the first images made pre-release. This asset was modelled, sculpted, rigged and animated in blender, textured/baked in substance painter.
