Wanted to do something light hearted, wanted to mess around with texture painting, and I wanted to play with hard-surface modelling some more. I collect lego a little bit, and this was one of my more recent additions, so I thought I might as well try to recreate it. I’m really pleased with the results overall. Modelling the hair was the most difficult part, and I think that’s where the model is most lacking. Otherwise I think it turned out alright.

This is actually a remake of a model that was featured in one of the levels I created for No More Room in Hell, quirky details preserved. At the time I was not able to actually create 3d models properly and found a way to circumvent it by using Propper - an addon that allows one to create a Source Engine model using only the Hammer Editor.
