I love fighting games! River City Girls was a fun game to play over the weekend! Its was a cool 2D side scrolling beat-em-up game. What I planned originally was a a two to three day experiment making this model, but it ended up turning into a week long project! It was fun to make even though its not exactly the way I would like it to be. I did learned how to use mixamo and attach actions to an armature in Blender. Have a look at the animations (and please ignore the floating brass knuckles and cellphone!) Keep a lookout out for the sequel game coming out sometime soon! This is my attempt at the 13mm Jackal from Hellsing! I always loved the weapons in this anime! They are all so over the top! I took so long to make this because I couldn’t find any consitent references, even from the anime! The model used in 3D portions of the anime seems to stay the same, but in most of the drawn scenes, the gun changes. At the time of modeling the Casull I didn’t feel confident enough to “Fill in the gaps” for areas that didn’t make sense given the inconsistent references but I think I was able to do a good job on it now! Textures are PBR and come in 4096, 2048, 1024, and 512. The “Final.zip” contins the last version of the Blender file I made this in. Seeing as how the next gen of gaming is basically here, I went ahead and modeled in some parts I normally would have normal mapped. After spending some time studying the models in Cyberpunk 2077, I feel pretty good about this polycount for a “next gen” model. Modled in Blender, some normals baked from blender, textures done in Substnace 3D Model is ready to download for free, this model contains 31161 polygons.
