Just another weird model, this time mix between ent and imp, that for some time I had in my folder under codename Verto and just waited to get rigged. Idea was to make tad smaller ent that would act like imp in forest but would not be so weak as most of folklore show them, something similar to some of Japanse Oni demons.

After modelling an environment for my last project, I decided to focus on props this time. I pushed my modelling skills by attempting different spear designs, incorporating shapes that went beyond the typical box-shape. The men-yoroi, which covered all or part of the face, provided a way to secure the top-heavy kabuto (helmet). The Shinobi-no-o (chin cord) of the kabuto would be tied under the chin. Small hooks called ori-kugi or posts called odome located on various places would help secure the chin cord. The men-yoroi was constructed from iron, leather, or a combination of both. It had a lacquered or rusted type of finish and included a variety of facial details, such as a moustache, fierce teeth and a detachable nose. A simple low poly Halloween haunted house, for the #HauntedHouseChallenge.
Spent too much time modelling and rigging the skeleton and run out of time for some features i had in mind.
All made in Blender 2.90
Edit: I finally completed after a month of working on my spare time.
I changed the house for a more cartoony style. Been playing with the shader node editor to give the house more personality with procedural textures.
Also added more action to the scene 3D Model is ready to download for free, this model contains 106935 polygons.
