This is a model of an 18th Century English hanger sword that I made originally using RealityCapture. I’ve returned to my original model, retopologized it, reworked the textures, and cleaned it up in some spots that needed manual attention. I’m quite happy with the result, and look forward to incorporating retopology in to my workflow more frequently. The blade is in excellent condition, and the hilt is a finely crafted work of silver. Both maintain an almost mirrored finish, presenting an enormous challenge to capture through photogrammetry.
