This is the damaged version of a carousel that I made for a Unity WebGL game a while back. The game is a 3rd person perspective, educational game and all rides are meant to be ridable after ‘fixing’ them, hence why there’s a damaged, and a new version of the ride. This also meant that the rides needed to be fully animatable and look as good as possible from close up despite limitations. Three of the main limitations were: 1. Poly count was required to be below 10000 per ride 2. Only a diffuse map was allowed 3. The only way to convey difference between a damaged and repaired ride was by replacing the diffuse map (no model changes allowed) NOTE: - Carousel animals from the Unity asset store were used. However, I haven’t included these in order to better showcase my personal contribution to the project - The flag has a significantly higher poly density than the rest of the model, this is because cloth physics were used to animate it. - Textures from both textures.com and Poliigon were used - Carousel - Damaged - 3D model by Kkye 3D Model is ready to download for free, this model contains 5500 polygons.

The theatre of Kourion was excavated by the University Museum Expedition of the University of Pennsylvania between 1935 and 1950. The theatre was initially constructed on a smaller scale in the late-second century BCE on the northern slope of the defile ascending from the Amathus Gate. This arrangement thus utilized the slope of the hill to partially support the weight of the seating in the cavea. The theatre was repaired in the late-first century BCE, likely following the earthquake of 15 BCE. The theatre’s scene building was seemingly reconstructed in 64/65 CE by Quintus Iulius Cordus, the proconsul, and it was likely at this time the ends of the cavea were removed, reducing it to a Roman plan of 180 degrees. The orchestra was likewise shortened to a semi-circular form. This work is based on a Sketchup-file. Unfortunately I don´t remember the name of its author. Anyway, thanks for the great model! Several years ago I converted and repaired it into a watertight STL-file. My purpose is to provide watertight STL-files for you, which can easily be modified for 3D-printing, according to your personal preferences. Because of that, most of my models are not repaired into one single shell. According to my own experience, this may be a bit more difficult for the preparation of the build, but helps you a lot, if you want to personalize the model. E.g. if you want to seperate parts, such as wheels or mirrors or to remove delicate details like wipers, door handles etc. Before printing, please check out if you have to modify the model, depending on the favored size of your print and the requirements of your printer.
