The Ename crosier is the top part of the staff of the abbot of the abbey of Ename, Belgium. The object has the status of Flemish Masterpiece and was found in 1995 during the archaeological excavations of the abbey. This digital restoratation shows the state of the crosier after being broken and repaired, somewhere between 1175 and 1390. The digital resoration was made by 3D artist Ewout De Vos in Z-Brush. This is a 3D model of a cast of the Terme Ruler, an ancient bronze statue in the Museo Nazionale Palazzo Massimo in Rome. The cast is made of plaster and is in Statens Musueum for Kunst in Copenhagen, Denmark. The Terme Ruler depicts a man with a disproportionately muscular body, especially when compared to its more modestly shaped head. Estimations date this statue to near the 2nd century BCE, comparing it to the Terme Boxer, particularly in hair style.
