Il prezioso manufatto bronzeo del XIV secolo, proveniente dalla collezione Luzzetti, appartiene alla tipologia dei lettorili liturgici a forma di aquila documentati, a partire dal tardo Trecento, su supporti autonomi. La presenza di artigli ricurvi ci suggerisce infatti che l’originaria collocazione dell’aquila doveva essere su una sfera, oggi non più esistente, sostituita da un capitello rovesciato di incerta datazione. Grandi e lunghe ali spiegate – con funzione di supporto del libro liturgico – mettono in mostra il bellissimo piumaggio, minutamente descritto con gusto calligrafico, che ricopre tutto il rapace. È soprattutto nella definizione stilistica della testa dell’aquila, caratterizzata da grandi occhi vividi aperti a mandorla, palpebre e becco ricurvo profondamente solcati, che si intravedono caratteristiche di derivazione nordica rintracciabili specialmente nelle splendide pagine a tappeto dei codici miniati medievali 3D Model is ready to download for free, this model contains 499999 polygons.

Gianfranco Luzzetti acquistò questa scultura nel 1992 da un antiquario in Bosnia. Il confronto per l’attribuzione è palese: il bronzetto del Giambologna che rappresenta Ercole con la clava del Museo Nazionale del Bargello di Firenze. La singolare bellezza della scultura Luzzetti, la qualità della lavorazione e la struttura vigorosa sono tutte caratteristiche che sembrano confermare la correttezza dell’attribuzione a Giambologna (pseudonimo di Jean de Boulogne; Douai 1529 - Firenze 1608). Inoltre, le dimensioni e il grado di rifinitura dei particolari inducono a credere che non si tratti di un bozzetto di studio ma di un vero e proprio modello compiuto. Description about this model?
By the way, i kept this model for about 1 month and then publish it now, because i’m never satisfied with my own work so here we are… The outfit was inspired by Ezio’s from AC Brotherhood, but i’m modified the texture that was inspired from AC Revelation (this is a mix between this two :D). Ok that’s it.
