The Odyssey is a Subnautica fan art concept I doodled up a year ago. It's a science and exploration vessel, designed to fit between the Seamoth and Cyclops, with unique scout drone and a mobile scanner system. My attempt at making something close to OceanGate Titan Submersible, which was tragically lost after it went missing on the 18th June 2023. The US Coast Guard’s findings explained that it had imploded and the crew had been instantly killed. The Titan was doomed from the beginning, with unusual practise during its construction and made with crude materials. The Titan was an experimental submersible, and was not officially certified.

The Cartel Faction faced a need to strike back at the US and South American navy’s control of shipping lanes and began to arm its fleet of smuggling boats for war. The result is a low profile missile boat that is very hard to detect and can sneak close to larger captial ships and strike with little warning.
This example uses a fiberglass body with steel supports, a survilance radar and vent are mounted above the crew comparment. In place of a cargo of drugs, the Cartels have mounted two Chinese C-802 in cansiters that was purchased on the black market. The C-802 has a range of nearly 200km and can sink ships up to a frigate in size making one of the most dangerous weapons in the Cartels arsenal.

A night-lurking variant of a cyclops I challenged myself to make after not using Blender for a while as frequently. Was originally suppose to be its own “thing” but about 20% in, i I thought it could work out as being a variant of the cyclops. Had an idea of a variant like this to begin with anyways, of a more abhorrant variety in its own way. So it all worked out in the end.
