When the player hits an enemy with an attack using Mjölner (pronounced “M-yoal-ner”), ones lightning spells socketed in Mjölner will be cast instantly without costing mana, similar to a trigger gem.
This mighty weapon was baked in the fires of Svartalfheim (substancepainter) with a high and a lowpoly made by the dwarfs brokkr and eitri (maya) and a detailed map (uv) that was haded down for generations (3dcoat)

What happened to the viking?
A little 3D story made for the WeeklyCGChallenge #102 “Viking Age”. I’m really happy with how this turned out.
Almost everything was done with Blender, but I also used PixPlant to get the map textures. It’s a great tool, easy to use, and easy to get great results for the Specular material workflow!
