3D scan of the argus pheasant pair Argusianus argus. The great argus lives in the rainforests of Borneo, Sumatra and the Malay Peninsula in southeast Asia. They can grow up to 2 meters in length and are therefore among the largest of the pheasant species. This pair lived in the Schönbrunn Zoo in Vienna, Austria, and is part of the museum's collection since 1932. The argus pheasant is Number 79 of the NHM Top 100 and can be found in Hall 31 of the NHM Vienna.
