Hello ! I wanted to model what, for me, is an exceptional design and an outstanding console: the Super Nintendo in very details ! Please choose HD textures for the best experience ;-) Blocked by lack of technical knowledge, I followed the hard surface tutorial of Gleb Alexandrov & Aidy Burrows. Excellent tutorial thanks to them ! My goal was to realize a realistic Super Nintendo on every little details of this gem, from screws to textures, from pictures I took of my console. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed doing it (and sorry for my poor english ^^). In the game, players assume the role of a pilot for the X1-Alpha, a robot designed to fight in the “Crime War” in Los Angeles in the year 2098. The X1-Alpha is a police vehicle that can transform between a fast, hovering pursuit vehicle, and a slower, full-fledged combat mecha.
This is recreation of the in game robot with HD textures for a modern age. The creaton of this model was an excersise in texture creation and animation (although I could have picked something easier to animate for my first time animating). The model was created in sketchup for the most part before moving it into blender for the finishing touches, texturing and animation. The textures where created from scratch using photoshop.
