A sci-fi holographic computer I made that is loosely based off the IBM 5100. Originally created for Second Life, shown here in Metalness PBR. Textured in Quixel Suite and Photoshop, modeled in Blender with the HardOps plugin.
The hologram is static for now, it normally has an animation (in other engines) but I am still trying to figure out a good way to have both a smooth interpolated rotation of the rings on the bottom and a hard transition of frames on the main screen (only way I can currently think of is to use the frame-by-frame method here but that would require way too much mesh data for smooth rotation). Project I worked on in July and August 2022. Reference of the bolt was not available at that time, neither it is now, so if you happen to own this marvelous weapon or know someone that does please contact me on Ein#5777 (discord) :).
The weapon contains 4 UV maps: (handle, lower receiver, upper receiver, first charging handle), (handleguard, suppressor, second charging handle), (stock) and (magazine).
I chose to split them in order to allow modularity, since I want to make variations in front parts (with and without suppressors), magazines and make the second available stock for this gun model.
