Belonging to Captain N.A. Quicke, WWI. Long, dark, Khaki green jacket, with there being 4 buttons lining the front of the jacket with the inscription “Duke of Cornwalls Light Infantry.” There are 5 pockets lining the front of the coat, 2 on either hip and 2 on either breast, all of which fasten with the same regimental buttons (with the one on the left hip being incredibly weathered to the point it is not distinguishable.) the 5th pocket is a concealed welt pocket that is within the belt band. There are 2 belt hooks on the back of wither hip and a large slit up the back of the garment to help aid movement. The jacket has been well worn, but looked after, evident through the inside lining on either arm pit. This item originates from the collection at Bodmin Keep Musuem, Cornwall, UK. This is a very “quick’n’dirty” test I decided to finally upload as a first entry to the #AgisoftClothesChallenge . It’s not great, it’s not that bad either…
This jacket is a replica of the black paneled uniform worn by military members of the Atlantis expedition in the Sci-Fi show Stargate Atlantis, and this specific version, made of ripstop fabric, is worn by John Sheppard during seasons 2 and 3 of the show. I made it back in 2013, so there are some flaws…
The model has a lot of flaws too that I could not really correct without damaging it more, and varying lighting during the photoscanning did not help… It’s made from 222 Nikon D5300 DSLR 24 MPx pictures, with low quality alignment, and medium quality depth map meshing, with a bit of smoothing.
