I started this as a fun little side project that I would work on when taking a break from my primary piece. For this project I wanted to try something new and different. My goal was to get more comfortable making strange shapes in Zbrush and also to become better at hand painting textures. Primarily painting in the shadow, lighting, reflections/ highlights and bounce lighting into the diffuse map. This is my Final for Stylized Creation. We had to go from a chosen concept to a 3D model that’s game ready. Meaning we had to go through the whole workflow of making a stylized character. This involved making a blockout, sculpting the detail on that blockout. There after we had to retopo the highpoly mesh and thus make a low poly version of it. Then we had to unwrap, to eventually bake and texture the model.
