Model was created from 5159 photos taken during a one hour of light gap per day, when the temple is covered by the shadow of the mountain in the late afternoon, but with still enough light for sharp images. I’ve done a ton of researching and studying, and I’ve found a style that seems to really work when creating 3d ghibli-style scenes using Substance Painter. These techniques can be applied to basically any project. I’m really looking forward to improving the process later on this month.
