Here is my most elaborate and intricate costume yet, a replica of a dress worn by Queen Cersei Lannister in Game of Thrones (seasons 3-6).
This red and gold brocard dress also features very fine and detailed embroideries figuring arabesques, birds and the powerful Lannister lion.
I spent 400 hours in this work, with 350 only for the hand embroideries! (I used 20m of italian mesh, 250m of golden threads, about 1400 beads and rings…)
The 3D model has been computed from 445 Nikon D5300 DSLR 24 MPx images, aligned in low quality, with medium depth maps and mesh (decimated to 850k polys, with localized smoothing up to 15), and one 4k texture (sorry for the loss of details on the embroideries…). All retopo, decimation, smoothing and texturing is made only in Metashape.

This is my first “full” 3D scan, combining 2 scans for the top and bottom of the shoe. I’ve been wanting to do this for a long time, and I’m glad I finally took the time to do it. Thanks @nebulousflynn for the help :) This was made with 165 photos shot with iPhoneXs and process with Agisoft Metashape. It’s not perfect but quite happy with the result. The biggest challenge was the tongue, which is very thin.
Since 2005, VEJA has been making sneakers differently infusing each stage of production with a positive impact. Veja introduced the V-10 model to celebrate their 10th anniversary, you can buy it here.

Durian has thick and thorny skin. It is famous and well known as the inspiration for Singapore’s Esplanade. Not only so, it is notoriously famous for its overwhelming stench. Yet to some, the smell is disgustingly nice. Durians are also analogues of treasure chests with many compartments. Inside each durian is approximately 5 different segments with each enclosing 2/3 portions of creamy yellow coloured and textured flesh wrapping around a large seed. After opening the durian, the excitement comes to know exactly how many segments (and thus how many flesh of durians you get) there are. You can just keep splitting it open to find more “treasures”.
If you happen to visit Singapore, be sure to give it a try! Even if you hate it, it’s a once in a lifetime experience. The late 14th century alabaster tomb of Goronwy ap Tudur and his wife Myfanwy, prominent members of the family which gave rise to the Tudor dynasty, is located at St Gredifael’s church in Penmynydd, Anglesey. When the tomb chest was originally carved it would undoubtedly have been one of the finest monuments of its time. It was originally situated in the friary in Llanfaes but following the Dissolution of the Monasteries in the 1530s, the tomb chest was dismantled and moved to its current location at St Gredifael’s near to the original family home of the Tudors.
The model was commissioned by the Church in Wales and completed by Gwynedd Archaeological Trust in 2014, prior to conservation work on the tomb and repairs to the church.
