This is a simple low-poly model of the interior of a library, which I made during my time studying 3D animation at UW-Whitewater. This set was originally supposed to be used in an edutainment game of sorts made with Unity, which would explain both the arrow and the low polygon count and the simple textures (we didn’t know how big this was going to be, so we started small). We were thinking of a MYST-like first person adventure game where the player would explore a library alone to search for clues and solve puzzles. Here are small assets of vintage books and wood bookshelves for my personal project. Given that the main character of the scene is not the typical little girl I thought it would be interesting to give her a wide variety of books that fit her personality. For the bookshelves I made two different finishes for the wood material. I am leaning more to the painted wood since it should give good contrast against the wall and also fits with the beach decor. Let me know which you prefer.
