The decendents of the original owners rediscovered it in a draw and put it up for auction.The ivory was obtained in the 1840s, and , and laster carved in China around 1899-1900 during the Boxer Rebellion. The auctioneer noted
“This was a very enlightened family, and this would have been a very loving gift from a husband to wife. You can see that because the level of detail is incredible, down to the folds of the skin. This is a replication of a grandfather clock found in the Disney attraction, The Haunted Mansion.
Optimized low-poly and high-poly sculpt were made entirely in Blender. The model was then exported into Substance Painter for texturing.
