What happened to the viking?
A little 3D story made for the WeeklyCGChallenge #102 “Viking Age”. I’m really happy with how this turned out.
Almost everything was done with Blender, but I also used PixPlant to get the map textures. It’s a great tool, easy to use, and easy to get great results for the Specular material workflow!

Hey!
Model based on the amazing Derek Laufman , Love his style and thought this would be a good character to modeling.
Had a lot of fun with this model and learn a lot, tried to improve a bit more my hand painted skills with him doing some metal and wood tests.
The model was made in zbrush , retopo and UV’s in Maya and Textures with Substance Painter.
Model has 12.7k without the outline and base.
