This was a project I’ve been working on for the past few months with Isabel Garcia, otherwise known as Osidinum.
We brainstormed back and forth for a few months and she came up with an awesome design for me to translate into 3D!
Exiled by the Shimada clan as a child, Ryoko lead a life of violence. Talon recognized her combat potential during the omnic crisis and manipulated her into becoming a soldier. This model was made for a university project. The goal was to bake a high poly onto a normal map with the low poly under 30,000 plygons. form the MechWarrior BattleTech Universe. I made the low and hogh poly models in Maya, then added detail to the high poly in Zbrush before baking that onto a normal map in Substance Painter.
